Toyota 4Runner 96-02 Rear Shock Mount Repair kit.
This is the solution to the rusted-out rear upper shock pockets on 96-02 4runners the buckeye performance inc. kit
relocates the upper mount to the outside of the frame with 4 self-threading bolts and/or the mount can be welded for a more secure fit. The mounts are made in the US with 3/16" steel and shipped unpainted.
This kit may have clearance issues with oversized tires and the installer must check for any rubbing on the tire to prevent a tire failure.
Installation time is 2-3hrs depending on how long it takes to remove the shocks from the old mounts.
